The renewed Type Approval from Lloyd’s Register (LR) demonstrates that the Tele Radio TIGER G2 radio remote control system conforms to recognised industry quality standards, International Conventions and/or the LR Rules for another 5 years.

Certifications are always valid for a certain amount of time. The classification must always be performed by using the latest testing technology. The LR Type Approval provides, manufacturers within the marine, offshore and shipping industry, the confidence that the Tele Radio TIGER G2 system is capable of providing the certified standard of product components, that their project requires.

Lloyds Register is the world’s largest insurance company in this area and classifieds all kinds of systems and their components, like radio remote controls that can be used at sea. It is very important for Tele Radio, as manufacturer of radio remote controlled systems, to have this certificate. Many customers and interested parties that operate in the shipping industry, expect that manufacturers of radio remote controls have these certificates and require this document.
Without a valid certificate, radio remote control cannot be used. The LR Type approval is accepted worldwide.
