EU regulatory compliance: where Tele Radio stands

Posted on October 12, 2026 at 4:59 pm

Starting in 2026, new EU regulations are reshaping safety and cybersecurity requirements for machinery and connected products. Three regulations apply to our industry: the Radio Equipment Directive (RED), the Machinery Regulation, and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) — each one broadening in scope, from wireless equipment, to machinery, to any product with a software element.

Tele Radio is part of Allgon Group, and our products are directly affected by all three:

  • RED – Already compliant. Our applicable products hold a Declaration of Conformity and meet RED’s cybersecurity requirements today.

  • Machinery Regulation – An active, Group-coordinated certification project is underway across our Panther, Tiger, Puma, Remotus, and new-generation product families, ahead of the regulation’s application date (20 January 2027).

  • Cyber Resilience Act – Readiness work is in progress across Allgon Group, ahead of the regulation’s main obligations (11 December 2027).

None of our products are being phased out because of these changes — we’re investing to keep them compliant and on the market for years to come. Existing installations are not affected retroactively, and updated documentation and declarations of conformity will be issued ahead of each applicable deadline.
