CONSTRUCTION

The construction industry is huge and includes many applications that we can operate efficiently and from a safe distance. Shovels, rock crushers, water pumps, aggregates and concrete factories are a small list of what we can operate wirelessly.

Tele Radio offers all kinds of solutions for the construction industry where safe working is of great importance. We certify our systems to the highest industry standards to ensure everything continues to operate under the toughest conditions. Systems with the highest safety requirements are certified for SIL3, PLd or PLe. To guarantee the highest level of safety, Tele Radio’s products are therefore independently tested by an accredited testing agency. The certificates can always be shown when you request them. As a user, you must be able to rely 100% on the safety of Tele Radio products.

Reliable products are of great importance. A factory that is shut down for half a day due to equipment failure has major consequences. Tele Radio’s systems have a long range and are reliable and safe even under the most extreme conditions.

APPLICATIONS

To give an idea of the possibilities, we have some examples of applications and their typical products below:

SHOVELS

A shovel is a machine used in construction or landscaping to move soil or sand. This can be done by shoveling by means of the loading shovel or by pushing the sand to move. Other names for the machine are wheel loader, loading shovel or earth-moving machine. For more view a shovel can be operated from outside the cabine with a transmitter.

AGGREGATES

An aggregate is a machine that generates energy. Aggregates are often used in places where there is no or insufficient mains power or in places where access to power is so important that a backup must be available. This is because aggregates can operate completely independently of the grid and cable free with a remote control.

WATER PUMPS

A water pump is an electromechanical machine that is used to increase the pressure of water to move it from one point to another. Modern water pumps are used worldwide to supply water for municipal, industrial, agricultural and residential uses and can be operated wirelessly with a radio remote control.

Your preferences for security and functionality

To choose the transmitter best suited to your needs, it is best to consult your Tele Radio team. We provide different transmitters with specific characteristics. The following three elements are decisive for the choice:

Safety Level

Our transmitters are safe and many models have independent safety certification. This means that the operation of the stop button has been tested and verified by an external and independent body. We recommend choosing a system with independent safety certification if you want to minimize the risk of injury when using machinery. No security risk? Then you can choose a transmitter without certification.

Push Buttons or Joysticks

The use of buttons makes the transmitter more manageable, but certainly not less precise. A transmitter with proportional buttons, for example, has the accuracy of a joystick transmitter. Pressing the button further increases the degree of activation. A joystick transmitter is larger, but has more customization options, such as special buttons and switches.

Feedback

Some transmitters can receive information from a controlled receiver. Depending on the system, information can be made visible via LEDs on the transmitter or via a display. For example, when controlling a crane, you can use the display to view information such as the weight to be lifted or alarms. This feature is less important for less complex applications, such as truck winches.
