Handheld Remote Control for Lifting and Crane applications: Panther Systems
These wireless radio control transmitters come in different forms and variations. The smallest one fits inside your pocket but there are larger more robust versions for heavy-duty use. Their stable performance and build will keep you running day-in and day-out. The push-button transmitters are at a minimum of IP65 and most are IP67.
Panther remotes adapt to 95% of all Crane and Lifting applications in the market: Overhead Cranes, Bridge Cranes, Electric Hoists, Gantry Cranes, winches, etc.
– 2.4 GHz License Free Frequency
– 16 Field Programmable Frequency Channels
– 2-Step Push Buttons
– Fail-Safe Operation – Out of range shut-off
– Up to 300 ft, line of sight (programmable up to 1,600 ft, line of sight)
– FCC/IC Approved. CAT3, PLd certified
– Completely dust protected (IP Certified)
Main advantages of Panther remotes
- You can store up to 8 transmitters in the receiver’s memory.
- Control two cranes independently or in TANDEM with a single transmitter (each crane must have its own receiver).
- Control a standard 3 motion, 2-speed single hoist crane or a 3 motion, 2-speed, dual hoist A/B/A+B. Also the possibility to control using a single transmitter two standard cranes (3 motion, 2 speed, single hoist) independently or at the same time.
Transmitters when active send repeated “stay alive pulses” to the receiver, prompting the safety relay(s) to drop if the receiver loses “sight” of the transmitter’s stay alive signal (out of range, dead battery, broken transmitter, etc.).
Panther uses 802.15.4 communication with DSSS, allowing the operation of up to 12 systems in a single frequency. Transmitters feature 16 field programmable frequency channels, ultimately allowing the operation of hundreds of systems, interference-free within proximity.
A further benefit is the ability to replace a lost or damaged transmitter from the ground-up, without the need to access the receiver.
It is possible to get a customized foil or faceplate, useful if you want specific symbols for your functions.
Tiger G2 – Transmitters with Joysticks and Display Screens
Tiger is a SIL3 and PLe certified, robust radio control system adaptable to standard and complex lifting applications in harsh environments.
Joystick wireless transmitters
The joystick transmitters in the Tiger family come in several layouts with customization abilities. They have rechargeable and replaceable batteries and optional waistbands for ergonomic working positions. We offer standard versions but we can also customize to specifications with paddles, potentiometers, buttons, and LEDs.
Pushbutton wireless transmitters
Tiger Pushbutton remotes come in different sizes and models, some with rechargeable and replaceable battery or rechargeable internal battery. They also have an adjustable range up to 1000 meters, and Duplex communication, CANopen and Modbus. The push-button transmitters are at a minimum of IP65 and most are IP66. You can get the handheld units with or without screen depending on your requirements. Transmitters with screens can show a variety of data feedback depending on your application’s capabilities.
