Remote control for heavy steel fabrication
Operate overhead cranes, ladles, and scrap handling from a safe distance, away from molten metal, radiant heat, and suspended loads.

Why use radio remote control in your steel mill?
In steel production, every operation takes place near molten metal, radiant heat, and loads weighing dozens of tons. Industrial remote control lets operators run equipment from the point with the best visibility and at a safe distance, without an exposed cab or a wired pendant restricting their position.
Overhead cranes, ladle cranes, furnace charging, continuous casting, scrap handling: in every one of these processes, keeping people out of the danger zone reduces risk and improves precision.
Industrial radio vs. other communication methods
A steel mill is one of the harshest electromagnetic environments there is: electric arc and induction furnaces generate intense interference, and the buildings are large, filled with metal structures and racking that reflect and block the signal.
Tele Radio’s industrial radio is designed for exactly these conditions. It delivers greater range and stability than Wi-Fi-based solutions, which can suffer dropouts or lost connections right when it matters most. Compared with wired pendants, it eliminates the cable as both a point of failure and a restriction on movement near hot zones.
✅ Range: reliable performance across the entire facility, even with metal structures in the way.
✅ Interference immunity: stable operation near electric arc and induction furnaces.
✅ No cables: nothing to restrict the operator’s position or degrade from heat exposure.
✅ Instant response: commands execute immediately, with no reliance on a third-party app.
Built for the toughest environment
The transmitters withstand impacts and drops, are IP-rated for water and dust protection, and operate across a wide temperature range. In an emergency, the certified emergency stop button is always within reach.

Uninterrupted remote control
Stopping a steel production line is expensive. If a transmitter is damaged or lost, you can easily replace it with another one, no service call needed.
Each transmitter has a unique code. To replace it, open a menu on the new transmitter and enter the old one’s code. From then on, only the new transmitter will work.
Replacing a transmitter
Within seconds, the receiver deactivates the old transmitter and activates the new one.
