{"id":60827,"date":"2021-02-18T10:14:21","date_gmt":"2021-02-18T10:14:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tele-radio.com\/?p=60827"},"modified":"2024-10-23T07:36:46","modified_gmt":"2024-10-23T07:36:46","slug":"crane-receiver-remote-control-buzzer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tele-radio.com\/us\/crane-receiver-remote-control-buzzer\/","title":{"rendered":"Crane Receivers with Optional Buzzer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Buzzers are an essential component for Remote Controlled Overhead and Gantry Cranes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) <strong>requires an audible or visual warning device on radio operated cranes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although OSHA does not provide specific examples of an &#8220;effective warning signal,&#8221; ANSI standard B30.2-1967, Overhead and Gantry Cranes, a subsequent revision of this standard, ASME B30.2-2005, Overhead and Gantry Cranes 2-1.15.3 Types of Devices, states that one or more of the following devices shall be provided:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Manually operated gong<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Power-operated bell, siren, or horn<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rotating beacon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strobe light<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For your convenience and security, Tele Radio offers its Panther &amp; Tiger crane receiver with an optional audible warning device in form of a <strong>siren\/buzzer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/www.tele-radio.com\/app\/uploads\/buzzer-remote-control-cranes-teleradio-receiver.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The siren or <strong>buzzer<\/strong> emits a continuous tone. This tone puts out <strong>91DB<\/strong> at a distance of 1ft and 81DB at a distance of 10ft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Initially delivered to sound when the corresponding push button is pressed (button number 7 in the example picture above), we also offer a customization of the Buzzer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Such customization would allow the Buzzer to sound for 3 seconds before the mainline engages and thereafter correspond to the corresponding push button of the crane receiver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We can furthermore, program the receiver to have the Buzzer sound when the crane is on the move or if a digital input inside our receiver is triggered (where available on the receiver).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\"><strong>Would you like to now more about this crane receiver implementation?
