It varies based on multiple factors, such as battery quality, shelf life, average discharge, charging routine and of course ambient temperature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With that it is extremely difficult to provide a definite answer to the aged old battery life question. Quality batteries used in our (Tele Radio) Transmitters in ideal conditions are known to have an <strong>extremely long life<\/strong> span. This is becauses we design our equipment to operate on very low voltage draw. In other words: it&#8217;s able to continue to function on minimal battery capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:50%\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-cover is-light\" style=\"min-height:150px;aspect-ratio:unset;\"><span aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-cover__background has-very-light-gray-background-color has-background-dim-100 has-background-dim\"><\/span><div class=\"wp-block-cover__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-cover-is-layout-flow\"><div class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"180\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tele-radio.com\/app\/uploads\/pn-t19-battery-life-1.png\" alt=\"Tele Radio transmitters are known to have an extremely long life span.\" class=\"wp-image-50467\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color\">Our top-selling <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tele-radio.com\/us\/products\/panther\/panther-transmitter-8x2-step-buttons-pld-cat3-2\/\">T19-2<\/a> lasts around <strong>100 hours of continuous use<\/strong> using AAA Alkaline batteries and up to <strong>130 hours<\/strong> using rechargeable Lithium Ion batteries<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The low and high temperature range of our transmitters are always conservatively publicized, which is primarily based on the weakest component within our Transmitters\/Receivers. This doesn&#8217;t  mean they cannot operate in much lower or higher temperatures. When it&#8217;s 0 degrees F (-18 degrees C) e.g., a fully charged battery has less than half its potential power. Extreme heat could lead to battery corrosion, whereas the active chemical leakage can then damage or disable the equipment that the batteries power.
